REDDING, CA (February 6, 2023) — One person was injured in a head-on accident on Old Oregon Trail near Oasis Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the two-vehicle crash happened around 9:40 p.m. Friday. For unknown reasons, one of the drivers reportedly crossed over the double yellow lines and crashed into the second car head-on.
 
As a result, one person suffered moderate injuries and was brought to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities did not say whether alcohol or drugs factored into the crash. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm these details.
