1 Person Hurt in Car Accident at Telephone Road in Ventura

 
VENTURA, CA (May 17, 2023) — Paramedics transported one person to the hospital following a car crash at Telephone Road and Portola Road.
 
According to reports, the car accident took place around 12:36 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a vehicle that appeared to be a white pickup truck crashed at the intersection. One person was trapped in the damaged vehicle and extricated by Ventura County firefighters.
 
Upon responding, rescue crews used extensive tools to free the person from the vehicle before transporting the individual to an emergency room via an ambulance.
