BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 28, 2022) — One person was injured in a 2-car accident on Calloway Drive at Rosedale Highway.
 
According to authorities, the car crash happened around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. For unknown reasons, a Kern County Fire Department vehicle approaching an intersection with its lights and sirens on collided with a driver of a white sedan.
 
Per reports, the Battalion Chief’s vehicle was responding to a nearby fire at the time.
 
As a result of the crash, one person suffered unknown injuries and required hospital care.
