1 Person Hospitalized in 2-Car Crash on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (February 24, 2023) — One person was injured in a 2-car accident on the 15 Freeway near Ranchero Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car collision happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a white 2015 Scion tC and a black 2020 Dodge Journey SUV crashed in an unknown fashion. The impact sent the white vehicle into the center divider, where it came to a stop, while the SUV overturned and landed on its roof on top of a barbed wire fence.
 
The man driving the SUV reported minor injuries in the collision and sought hospital care as a precaution.
 
CHP Victorville officials have not released the ultimate cause of the crash, but an ongoing investigation should confirm the factors and events that happened before the impact.
