Two Suspected Carjackers Wanted after Car Crashes into House on East 74th Street in Florence

 
FLORENCE, CA (February 28, 2022) – At least one person sustained injuries after a car crashed into a house on East 74th Street, Friday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on February 25 at about 7:37 p.m. As per reports, two alleged carjackers attempted to take a vehicle from a driver. Then, the driver hit the accelerator, lost control of the vehicle, and slammed into a house.
 
The Los Angeles Fire Department later transported one person to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. LAPD later said that two children inside the house were also taken to a hospital as a precaution. Officers added that the children did not sustain injuries.
 
Investigators confirmed that the alleged carjackers fled the scene.
 
LAPD continues to investigate the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
