1 Person Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Outer Highway 18 in Apple Valley

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (December 12, 2022) — One person died in a pedestrian accident on Outer Highway 18 near Standing Rock Avenue.
 
According to reports, the fatal pedestrian accident took place around 6:12 p.m. Saturday. For unknown reasons, a driver struck a person along Outer Highway 18. Soon after, emergency personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased. As the corner tended to the possession of the body, California Highway Patrol units blocked both sides of the road.
 
Information surrounding what drove the crash is unavailable at this time. However, the driver did stay at the scene and cooperate with the police investigators. If anyone has more information that can assist the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, please call the authorities.
