1 Person Killed in Motorcycle, Pickup Crash on Highway 20 in Williams

 
WILLIAMS, CA (May 12, 2023) — One person died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 20 near Husted Road.
 
According to the Williams Police Department, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 1:46 p.m. Wednesday.
 
For an unknown reason, a motorcyclist crashed into a pickup truck. The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and perished minutes later at the scene. Officials did not release the victim’s name.
 
Due to the accident, Williams Police Department, California Highway Patrol and Colusa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene to perform an investigation.
 
The pickup driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. Due to the crash, authorities closed Highway 20 between Marguerite Street and Husted Road until 4:30 p.m. to canvass the area for details about the cause.
