Vehicle Crashes into Bus Stop Killing Pedestrian, Leaves Another in Critical Condition

 
ELYSIAN PARK, CA (July 14, 2022) – One pedestrian died and another person suffered critical injuries after an accident on North Broadway in Elysian Park on Wednesday afternoon, July 13.
 
The accident happened just after 4:20 p.m. near Bernard Street, fewer than two miles from Dodger Stadium. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a green Mercedes-Benz SUV crashed on a sidewalk and into a bus stop.
 
Officers arrived and confirmed that one pedestrian was killed in the crash.
 
Two other people were injured, one of them was taken to a trauma center in critical condition.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
