1 Passenger Dead in Single-Car Crash on 80 Freeway in Sacramento

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 30, 2023) — A passenger died in a solo-car accident on the 80 Freeway at Greenback Lane.
 
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the deadly car accident happened around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. Under unknown circumstances, a vehicle crashed on the westbound off-ramp of the 80 Freeway to Greenback Lane. A passenger in the white vehicle died shortly after. Officials have not released the victim’s name at this time.
