Two-Vehicle Accident on Highwya 132 in Modesto Kills One

 
MODESTO, CA (June 15, 2022) – One person died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 132 in Modesto Tuesday evening on June 14.
 
The accident happened around 7:56 p.m. at Paradise Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. After the crash, one vehicle ended up in a canal and became fully submerged.
 
First responders found one person suffering from major injuries. They provided life-saving aid, but that person died at the scene.
 
The identity of the decease victim was not immediately available.
 
It is unclear if there are other injuries sustained in the crash.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the exact cause of the crash and factors involved.
