1 Killed in Solo-Car Accident on Highway 99 near Liberty Road [Stockton, CA]

Fatal Single-Car Crash on Highway 99 in Stockton

 
STOCKTON, CA (August 29, 2022) — One person died in a solo-car accident on Highway 99 near Liberty Road on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol Stockton station, the deadly accident occurred around 4:25 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a Jeep Wrangler was driving recklessly on the highway.
 
Subsequently, the individual lost control and the car veered off the highway and crashed into a fence. At some point upon impact, the driver was ejected.
 
Responding authorities and emergency personnel found the driver dead at the scene. However, authorities have not released the victim’s name.
