1 Dies in Multi-Car Crash on Winnetka Avenue in Chatsworth

 
CHATSWORTH, CA (June 16, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car accident on Winnetka Avenue near Lassen Street on Wednesday.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the fatal multi-car crash happened around 8:40 p.m. For unknown reasons, multiple cars crashed in the 9900 block of Winnetka Avenue.
 
Shortly after, Los Angeles Fire officials responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead and brought two people to a hospital in serious condition. In addition, firefighters had to rescue at least one surviving patient from the wreckage.
 
At this time, authorities have not released the female victim’s name and the circumstances of the crash. However, an ongoing investigation into this crash should confirm any outstanding details.
