Two-Vehicle Accident on North Vincent Road near Delhi Kills 1 Driver and Injures 5 Other People

 
DELHI, CA (June 29, 2022) – One person died and five others suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle accident on North Vincent Road north of Delhi on Tuesday, June 28.
 
The accident happened around 8:24 a.m. at the intersection with West Harding Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman driving an Infiniti SUV was heading southbound on North Vincent Road with a teenage passenger. For unknown reasons, her vehicle traveled off the road shoulder.
 
The woman over-corrected, causing the vehicle to travel into the northbound lane where it struck a Chevrolet Cruze head-on. The Chevrolet then caught fire from the impact.
 
As a result, the male driver of the Chevrolet died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, Three teenage passengers in the Chevrolet, as well as the driver and passenger in the Infiniti, all suffered major injuries.
 
At this time, an investigation is ongoing. Neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the crash.
