Two Cars Collide on Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento Killing One Person

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 20, 2023) – One person died and four other people were injured in a two-car accident at Stockton Boulevard and Florin Road in South Sacramento early Saturday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:36 a.m. on March 18. According to the Sacramento Metro Fire, a 1994 Nissan was traveling across lanes to enter a parking lot. The driver did not obey the right-of-way of a 2007 Hyundai and crashed into it.
 
As a result, a 20-year-old man died at the scene. It is unknown if he was one of the drivers or a passenger.
 
Four other people were hurt, two of them suffered major injuries. Paramedics took all of them to local trauma centers for treatment.
 
Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
