1 Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Head-On Accident at Grayson Road and Muncy Road [Modesto, CA]

Modesto Head-On Accident on Grayson Road Kills One, Leaves Two Others Injured

 
MODESTO, CA (October 19, 2021) – One person died and two others suffered serious injuries after a head-on accident at West Grayson Road and Muncy Road.
 
The accident happened just after 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, about two and a half miles from South Carpenter Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Dodge Durango and a Dodge Caliber collided head-on when one of them drifted into the wrong lane.
 
As a result, one of the drivers died at the scene. The deceased was not yet identified.
 
A passenger was air lifted and another person was transported by ground to the hospital, both with major injuries. One was in critical condition.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was a factor. An investigation is ongoing.
