Fatal Multi-Vehicle Accident on North Vermont Avenue in Los Feliz

 
LOS FELIZ, CA (August 23, 2021) – One person died and two others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on North Vermont Avenue in Los Feliz Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:11 p.m. on August 22. The Los Angeles police did not indicate the exact number of vehicles involved and details of how the crash occurred.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a 20-year-old died at the scene. Two other people, an 18-year-old woman and 20-year-old man, sustained critical injuries.
 
A third person, a 19-year-old man, declined further treatment and was released at the scene.
 
Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased victim pending notification of next of kin.
 
The Citizen app claimed that a passenger had been sitting on the lap of the driver.
 
The circumstances of this fatal crash remain under investigation.
