TAFT, CA (March 9, 2022) — One person died in a car accident on Lincoln Street at Cedar Street on Tuesday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle accident happened around 8:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, two cars crashed at the intersection where a coroner immediately responded shortly after as a result of a reported fatality.
 
Due to the aftermath of the crash, authorities had to close down Lincoln Street for about an hour to investigate and clear the scene.
 
At this time, information related to the cause of the crash and the victim’s name is not available. However, anyone with information should reach out to the authorities.
