Car Accident on Cresta Road in Corona Leaves 1 Dead and Another Seriously Injured

 
CORONA, CA (October 30, 2021) – One person died and another suffered serious injuries in a car accident on Cresta Road in Corona Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on October 29, at Parkridge Avenue. An SUV carrying two people was transitioning from the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway to the northbound 15 Freeway bridge.
 
For unknown reasons, the SUV veered off of the transition and came down on its front end at the intersection of Cresta Road and Parkridge Avenue.
 
Corona Fire Department paramedics reached the location within a few minutes and pronounced one of the occupants dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
