1 Killed, 1 Critical after Car Accident on 60 Freeway near Valley Way [Jurupa Valley, CA]

Early Morning Crash on 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley Kills 1 and Leaves Another in Critical Condition

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 20, 2022) – One person died and another was in critical condition after a car accident on 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley early Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 1:25 a.m. on June 18, just west of Valley Way. According to the Riverside County Fire Authority, a car was traveling eastbound on the freeway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighters responded and found two people trapped inside the car. They used hydraulic tools to free the victims.
 
Sadly, one of the victims died at the scene. Paramedics transported the second patient to a hospital with critical injuries.
 
Authorities are still investigating the accident to determine the cause and factors involved.
