Car Flipped Sideways after Two-Vehicle Accident on Date Palm Drive near Perez Road

 
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (July 15, 2021) – One person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Date Palm Drive, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the Cathedral City Fire Department, the incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided near the area of Date Palm Drive and Perez Road.
 
The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn, blocking the southbound traffic on Date Palm Drive.
 
Paramedics rendered aid to one injured victim. As per reports, the victim did not need hospitalization.
 
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
