Person Ejected after Perris Car Accident on Ramona Expressway
PERRIS, CA (February 4, 2021) – One person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Ramona Expressway, Wednesday January 27.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened at about 9:25 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, at least three vehicles collided near the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Evans Road.
The impact of the crash ejected one person from a vehicle that caught fire. As per reports, the fire was contained at 10:10 p.m.
Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities did not release the name and the condition of the victim.
The number of people injured in the accident on Ramona Expressway remains unknown.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
