Three Lanes Closed after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 10 Freeway near Beaumont Avenue

 
BEAUMONT, CA (April 29, 2022) – One person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 10 Freeway on Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on April 28 shortly after 8:00 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, an Infinity SUV, a Rav-4, and a big rig hauling a wide load collided at the Beaumont Avenue offramp.
 
The impact of the collision caused the big rig to flip onto its side and one other vehicle to cross the center divider.
 
As per reports, the SUV driver suffered an injury to his arm. However, it is unknown if the driver needed hospitalization.
 
Responders later closed three lanes to make way for clearing operations.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
