1 Person Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Leona Way in Granite Bay
GRANITE BAY, CA (February 3, 2025) — One person was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Leona Way near Olive Ranch Road.
According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the hit-and-run occurred around 3:20 p.m. Saturday. Authorities responded to the 7800 block of Leona Way to find a person with injuries consistent with that of being hit by a car. Paramedics transported the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
At the scene, detectives ruled this crash as a hit-and-run. However, a suspect was taken into custody moments later.
