SACRAMENTO, CA (April 25, 2022) — One person suffered major injuries in a hit-and-run bicycle accident on Elk Grove Florin Road at Bridalsmith Drive on Thursday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the hit-and-run pedestrian crash happened around 10:51 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a white work truck driving northbound on Elk Grove Florin Road struck a bicyclist in the bicycle lane.
 
Following the impact, the driver of this possible 2008 to 2016 four-door Ford pickup truck left the scene, leaving the victim with major injuries.
