Person Hospitalized after Car Accident Involving LAPD Officer on 54th Street in Hyde Park

 
HYDE PARK, CA (November 22, 2021) – At least one person sustained injuries following a car accident on 54th Street, Friday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened on November 19 at about 9:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, an LAPD officer became involved in a collision near the area of 54th Street and Arlington Avenue.
 
Emergency crews transported one person to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and medical evaluation. Authorities did not release the names of the people involved.
 
LAPD continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
