Police Arrest DUI Driver after Crash at Santa Rosa and Montalban Streets in SLO

 
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 14, 2023) – One person was injured and another one was arrested after a DUI crash at Santa Rosa Street and Montalban Street early Sunday morning.
 
According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, a white Audi was going southbound on Santa Rosa at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a black Subaru just after midnight.
 
The impact caused the Subaru to spin out before stopping on a sidewalk in front of Jack in the Box. The Audi continued southbound and stopped when it hit a light pole on the overpass.
 
Paramedics took the driver of the Subaru to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
Police arrested the driver of the Audi for allegedly driving under the influence.
