Woman Hospitalized after Car Crashes into House on La Loma Drive in Tustin

 
TUSTIN, CA (May 11, 2022) – One person sustained injuries after a car crashed into a house on La Loma Drive, early Friday morning.
 
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the incident happened on May 6 shortly before 2:00 a.m. A speeding vehicle reportedly jumped a curb, overturned, and slammed into the front corner of a house in the 19200 block of La Loma Drive.
 
As per reports, responders found the car flipped upside down. The impact of the crash later caused the vehicle to burst into flames.
 
Emergency crews transported a woman to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Responders confirmed that the residents of the home did not sustain injuries.
 
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
