PETALUMA, CA (March 08, 2021) — At least one person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Lakeville Highway at Old Lakeville Road No. 2 in Petaluma.
 
The Friday morning crash took place at about 10:40 a.m. It involved three vehicles, including a big rig, as per reports from the California Highway Patrol.
 
The initial report about the accident was about a semi-truck and a pickup truck hauling a boat colliding at the intersection.
 
Officials said it’s possible that there was a third vehicle involved that they described as a Toyota Camry. The said vehicle possibly collided with the other two vehicles on Lakeville Highway, north of Highway 37 and south of Highway 116.
 
At approximately 11:30 a.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert for Lakeville Highway, which lasted about an hour. Officials confirmed at least one person received treatment at the scene. It was not clear, however, whether the injured party required transport to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the cause and circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
