BRENTWOOD, CA (August 30, 2021) – A person sustained injuries in a three-vehicle accident on Apricot Way, Thursday afternoon.
 
According to the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District, the incident happened on August 26, at about 3:54 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, three vehicles collided on Apricot Way.
 
The impact of the crash caused significant front-end damage to at least one vehicle. A tree was also knocked down as a result of the accident.
 
As per reports, four people were involved in the collision. Emergency crews later transported one person to a local trauma center for treatment of moderate injuries.
 
The Brentwood Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
