BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 22, 2021) – One person sustained injuries in a car accident on Monterey Street, Tuesday.
 
For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area of Monterey Street and Gage Street. The impact of the collision sent one of the vehicles into a nearby yard, almost hitting the house.
 
Paramedics transported one person to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities did not release the name and age of the victim.
