1 Dead in Crash on 10 Freeway in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (July 5, 2024) — One person died in a Pomona accident on the 10 Freeway near Kellogg Drive on Wednesday.
 
The fatal car accident happened on the eastbound lanes of the San Bernardino freeway. Authorities are investigating what caused the 5:30 a.m. crash that left at least one person fatally injured at the scene.
 
Due to the accident, California Highway Patrol rerouted commuters from the area around the scene so they could investigate the details. At this time, officers do not have an explanation for this accident on the 10 Freeway, including if DUI or speeding factored into the cause.
