1 Killed in Rollover Crash on Highway 101 in Leggett

 
LEGGETT, CA (November 7, 2022) — One person died in a rollover accident on Highway 101 near Highway 1.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal single-car accident happened Saturday before noon. Under unclear circumstances, a driver lost control of a vehicle, which subsequently rolled over and crashed off Highway 101.
 
Soon after, authorities and paramedics responded to the scene to find the driver trapped and deceased in the vehicle. Two people sustained minor injuries and one person had moderate injuries.
 
During the rescue, paramedics had to cancel all air ambulances due to the weather. It’s unclear what drove the accident, but an ongoing investigation should confirm the details. If anyone has seen this crash, please contact the CHP.
