Fatal Pickup and Semi-Truck Accident on 105 Freeway in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 27, 2022) — One person died after a pickup and a semi-truck crashed on the 105 Freeway at Vermont Avenue, early Thursday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision happened around 2:14 a.m. on the westbound side of the freeway. Under unknown circumstances, a pickup truck and a semi-truck crashed in an unknown fashion.
 
As a result, one person died at the scene.
 
Authorities had to close three lanes of the freeway and the Vermont Avenue off-ramp due to cleanup.
 
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the leading cause of the crash. However, they will look into the details of this fatal collision to identify what had happened. If anyone has more information, please call the CHP.
