1 Killed in Multi-Car Crash on Highway 138 in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (August 25, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car accident on Highway 138 near Lone Pine Canyon Road on Wednesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal multi-vehicle collision occurred around 4:54 p.m. Approximately two miles from the 15 Freeway, an Oldsmobile and a truck crashed, causing the truck to overturn and trap an occupant inside.
 
At some point, a white Ford Fiesta struck a Honda Accord, per a CHP log.
 
Soon after, San Bernardino County Fire responded to the scene and San Bernardino County Coroner confirmed one fatality. From there, officials requested two ground ambulances for at least one patient.
 
At this time, reports have not clearly identified the cause of the accident, the victim’s name or how many people were injured.
