1 Killed in La Mesa Multi-Car Crash on 8 Freeway

 
LA MESA, CA (January 17, 2022) — One person died in a multi-car accident on the 8 Freeway near Severin Drive on Saturday evening.
 
According to reports, the multi-car crash happened around 7:35 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, multiple cars collided on the 8 Freeway.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, one person suffered fatal injuries. Authorities have not released that person’s name.
 
At this time, the California Highway Patrol officers have not confirmed information on what led to the accident. However, any witnesses with information should contact the CHP.
