1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized in Single-Car Crash on Scenic Drive in Trinidad

 
TRINIDAD, CA (June 22, 2023) — One person died in a solo-car accident on Scenic Drive near Baker Ranch Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly single-vehicle crash happened around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday. For an unknown reason, a driver of a 2003 Toyota Camry lost control of the car on Scenic Drive. As a result, the Camry veered off the road and went down an embankment where it crashed.
 
Responding paramedics descended about 200 feet to rescue the victims. However, they reached the wreckage only to find one man dead and another with major injuries.
 
The seriously injured patient was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
