VICTORVILLE, CA (May 23, 2023) — One person was arrested in a DUI rollover accident on Bear Valley Road near Topaz Road.
 
According to initial reports, the single-vehicle crash happened on May 21 around 1:00 a.m. For possible DUI-related reasons, a driver of a red Mazda four-door sedan lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over multiple times.
 
Responding authorities found the vehicle on its roof in the desert and off the roadway. Upon arrival, officers found three people in the car, including the driver who suffered minor injuries. Paramedics brought two Mazda passengers to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Following an investigation, officers arrested the driver and booked the individual for felony DUI. Following the accident, authorities closed Bear Valley Road between Eagle Ranch Parkway and Topaz Road for investigation.
