This procedure relieves pain caused by pinched nerve in c/s.
Helps to treat spinal stenosis, disc herniation and radiculopathy.
It may be done in twilight sedation (sedated but awake) as the area is numbed, X-ray/fluoroscope.
The anesthesia is injected into foraminal space to ‘bathe’ the nerve.
It may need only one, but can take 2-3 procedures.
