1 Dies in Car Crash on 110 Freeway in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 13, 2024) — One person died in a car accident on the 110 Freeway near 3rd Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the car crash happened around 5:00 a.m. near the 3rd Street exit. For unknown reasons, at least one car, believed to be four, collided on the northbound side of the freeway. Subsequently, CHP officers arrived at the scene near downtown Los Angeles to assess the accident and investigate what caused it.
Officers confirmed one fatality but did not say if the victim was a pedestrian, a driver or an occupant of the vehicle. Although Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics did not release the fatal victim’s name, they described him as a man in his 50s.
