Motorcyclist Hospitalized in Crash with Car on Highway 99 in Chico

 
CHICO, CA (September 27, 2024) — Paramedics airlifted one person following a motorcycle accident on Highway 99 in Chico.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers reported the crash on September 25. For an unknown reason, a motorcyclist collided with a Chevy Avalanche truck. Subsequently, emergency personnel responded and airlifted the injured rider to Enloe Health for treatment of a cut to his head.
 
After the crash, the other driver stayed on site and cooperated with police investigators. However, police did not specify the leading cause of the motorcycle accident but are looking into the possibilities.
